Environmental policy

We do not claim to be perfect however we are trying to take steps in the right direction. We have changed our full product line to be made from natural and sustainable materials that can be broken down naturally at end of life.

The reason we say we are not perfect is because we still use plastic zips in our covers. We are aware of metal zips however due to our; product range and producing in small batches, having to buy in pre-determined zip lengths it is not possible for us at the moment. When you are done with your CosyCo product you can cut the zip out and take it to your recycling centre or reuse it in a craft project.

Our other commitments as a UK factory:

• We use Zero to landfill meaning that none of our waste goes into landfill, it is either recycled or used to generate electricity to nearby homes and businesses.
• Our products are modular. Need a new cover or filling outside of our lengthy guarantees? No problem, just contact us to let us know what you need (cost applies).
• Every product is hand made to order. Once you complete checkout our team get making. Don't worry, we make things pretty sharpish. This method stops wastage and over production. It also allows us to continually improve our products.
• We manufacture and source locally where possible. This reduces transport associated emissions. Our wool for instance is British & farm traceable. 
• We are actively working to reduce plastic usage in our factory.
• We are switching to biodegradable packaging. 
• We tweak product listings into perfection to reduce emissions from downstream shipping and returns.
• Litter picks around our site to keep waste from waterways and the wider environment.
